RITES FOR DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. SHAW HELD
Osage – Funeral services were held Saturday at 3 o’clock at the Champion Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. John Kern of the Osage Baptist church for Dorothy Ann Shaw, 8-months-old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shaw, who died at her home here Friday morning.
Born in Iowa City, March 23, 1936, she lived here with her parents and brother and sister who survive along with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Will Cook. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

BABY GIRL; BURIAL
SATURDAY AFTERNOONDorothy Ann, the 7-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shaw, passed away at the Nissen hospital early Friday morning, after only a few hours illness. The little girl had been suffering from an ear ailment for the past week, however, but it appeared to be healing nicely. She became worse Thursday and was soon beyond aid.
Dorothy was born here in Osage. She is survived by her parents, a sister, Alice, and a brother, Donald.
Duneral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. J. Kern, and burial was made in Osage Cemetery.
