Rites at Osage for
Mrs. McRorie, Who
Died at BrownvilleOSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services were held here Tuesday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Albert E. McRorie who died at her home in Brownville after a two year illness.
Ada Newcomb was born in New York state and came to Osage in 1864. She was married to Albert E. McRorie more than 50 years ago. She and her husband formerly owned and operated the general store and postoffice at Brownville.
Surviving are her husband and three children: Mrs. Louis Sauers of Brownville, Mrs. Stowell Palmer of Waterloo, and Henry McRorie of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; and one sister, Mrs. William Nims of Osage.
Burial was in the Brownville cemetery.
