COUNSELL, Harriet

Funeral services for Harriet G. Counsell, 79, were held Monday, January 30, 1984 at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Pittman of the United Methodist Church officiated at the service and burial was in the Osage City Cemetery. The Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Harriet G. Counsell was born June 9, 1904 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of John N. and Gertrude Strong.

She was united in marriage, August 23 1922 to Lloyd W. Counsell of St. Ansgar.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; her husband; one daughter, Barbara; one son, Maurice (Skip); and two granddaughters.

Harriet is survived by three sons, Lloyd Jr., Owen (Bud) both of Osage, and Robert of Little Cedar; 15 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

CORRECTION

In the Harriet Counsell obitary, it was inadvertently reported that she was preceded in death by twin granddaughters. It should have read, twin grandsons.
