OSWALD H. JOHNSON
Osage – Funeral services for Oswald H. Johnson, 69, wee held Tuesday at Salem, Oregon. A former Osage resident, he died of cancer Friday at Salem. Burial was in Silverton, Oregon.
The son of John B. and Lena Johnson, he was born near Osage. He was employed at the Farmers Elevator here many years and had farmed in Oregon 27 years.
Surviving are his wife, Ida; a son, Keith, on the home farm at Salem; a daughter, Mrs. Bruce Reynolds, Salem; a brother, J. B. Johnson, Waterloo, and a sister, Mrs. Vernon Moore, Cedar Falls.

Johannes Bernhard Johnson born July 4, 1872 Cedar, Mitchell, IA to Ole Helgesen Johnson and Berthe Jensdatter. Married Oline Marie Halvorsdatter Brenden March 31, 1893 at Rock Creek Lutheran, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, IA. 3 children. Died July 14, 1939 Cedar, Mitchell, IA. Buried at Osage Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, IA.
Oline Marie Halvorsdatter Brenden Johnson, Born April 24, 1873 York, Green, Wisconsin to Halvor Olsen Brenden and Jorand Olsdatter Haugen. Married Johannes Bernhard Johnson March 31, 1893 at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. 3 children: Oswald, Johan, and Gladys. Died April 25, 1940 Mitchell, IA.

He may have been buried in the Valley View Cemetery, Silverton, Marion County, Oregon. There is Find A Grave memorial for an Ida Knutson Johnson (1904-1962 buried there, but he’s not listed in the cemetery.
