Birth: Jan. 19, 1927, Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa.

Death: Nov. 1, 1992, Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.

Two Plymouth
residents killed
in collision

A two-car crash about a mile south of Plymouth Sunday, November 1, has claimed the life of a Plymouth couple.

William Keith Gunsallus, 65, and his wife, Mary Ann Gunsallus, 60, died after being struck by a south-bound car driven by Daniel Bryant, 17, of Mason City. Bryant lost control of his vehicle after hitting the east ditch of Cerro Gordo County Road S56. He was swerving back toward the west ditch when his vehicle was struck by the northbound vehicle driven by Mary Gunsallus.

Keith Gonsallus died at the scene of the accident; Mary Gunsallus died shortly after being taken to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City. Bryant is in critical condition in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.

The Iowa State Patrol and the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Department are presently still
investigating the accident, along with the fire departments of Plymouth and Mason City.

Both vehicles involved in the accident are considered total losses.

The Gunsallus' are survived by relatives in the area, including William's sister Ann Feldt, and her husband Harold of St. Ansgar.

Keith is also a Veteran.

Keith & MaryAnn were killed in a car accident on their way to church on Sunday, November 1, 1992.

Burial: Saint Ansgar Cemetery, Saint Ansgar, Mitchell County, Iowa.
