Albert Luther
Graveside committal services for Albert C. Luther, 73, a former Osage resident, were held at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Osage City Cemetery, with Rev. Keith Hejnal officiating.
Mr. Luther of Sioux City, Iowa, died Saturday, December 23, 1983 at a Sioux City hospital. Funeal services were held in Sioux City.
Mr. Luther was born on March 27, 1910, in Armington, Illinois; the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Luther. His family moved to Osage, where he graduated from the Osage high school.
He married Arleen McIllece on June 16, 1934 in Nashua.
He was employed by Crowell, Collier and Curtis Publishing Company as a sales supervisor in the Midwestern states for the past 40 years.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael in 1940.
He is survived by his wife, Arleen, Sioux City; two sons, James, of Mission, Texas, and Thomas, of Port St. Joe Florida; six grandchildren; and a sister, Emma Henderson, Mount Carroll, Illinois.
Champion Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
