Everest Buehrer 1907-1983
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 30, at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, for Everest Buehrer, 76, who died Tuesday, December 27, 1983 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage, Iowa.
The Rev. Rick Magstadt officiated at the service, and burial was in the Osage City Cemetery.
Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Buehrer was the former operator of Buehrer Sanitation and Trash Service in Osage. Mr. and Mrs. Buehrer founded the business in 1956 and operated it until retiring in 1979.
He was born November 9, 1907 in Grafton, Worth county, Iowa. He and his family moved to Otranto in 1914, where he lived until 1956 when he married Joyce Ogden in Osage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ella (Helmers) and a sister, Verna.
Mr. Buehrer is survived by his wife, Joyce, and a daughter, Mrs. Ric (Terri Lynn) Lancaster, both of Osage.
