John Joseph McCullough
February 1869 – January 26, 1937

McCULLOUGH RITES ARE HELD AT OSAGE CHURCH

OSAGE, IOWA – Funeral services were held here Thursday afternoon at the Congreagtional church in charge of the Rev. Stiles Lessly, and the Rev. John D. Kern of the Baptist church of John McCullough, 67, who died at his home here Tuesday morning after a week’s illness from flu and complications. His entire life was lived in the same house here.

Surviving are his widow and daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Remley of Cedar Falls.

John Joseph McCullough was born February 1869, according to the 1900 Census. He was the son of Robert and Jane Ann (Erwin) McCullough.

He married Esther (maiden name unknown). The 1925 Iowa Census has it as Janes with father Evan Janes and mother Charlotte Wynn.
