Minnie (nee Gottschalk) Heckstein April 4, 1873 – July 10, 1964

Osage – Funeral services for Minnie Heckstein, 91 will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell. The Rev John Woodin of the First Baptist Church will officiate.
Mrs. Heckstein died Friday in a Mason City nursing home. She was born at Grafton April 4, 1873, to August and Florentirea Gottschalk. She was married to Herman Heckstein in 1893 and lived in Grafton.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Esther Stromer, Elk River, Minn.; Mrs. William Bruesewitz, Grafton; a son, Frank, Osage; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.
