FRED KUNTZ, 74, SUCCUMBS TO HEART CONDITION

Grafton – Fred Kuntz, 74, 1308 Hampshire N.E., Mason City, died Friday at a Rochester hospital from a heart condition.
Services will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church here with burial in the church cemetery. Arrangements are incomplete at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage.

Born October 3, 1885, near Grafton, he was the son of Karl and Hulda Kuntz. He was married to Lydia Bruesewitz in August 1908. They farmed near Grafton until retiring to Mason City in March, 1959.

Surviving are his wife, four sons, Earl, Vernon, Kermit and Gene, all of Grafton; six daughters Mrs. Alvin (Ruth) Krueger, Osage; Mrs. Glen (Ella) Priem, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Elmer (Pearl) Rosenberg and Mrs. Clarence (Ethel) Walk, both of Grafton; Marcella and Lois, both of Mason City; 20 grandchildren, three brothers, William, Northwood; Reinhold, Grafton; Ralph, Manly; four sisters; Mrs. Joe (Myrtle) Stroner, Weiser, Idaho; Mrs. Albin (Clara) Hoydar, Oakland, Ca.; Mrs. Elmer Osborne, Oakland, Ca.; Mrs. Arthur (Rose) Connor, Plymouth, Indiana.
