JOHN WARBURTON DIES AT RICEVILLE; RITES WILL BE HELD TUESDAY

Riceville – John Warburton, 83, pioneer of North Iowa, died Sunday morning from old age infirmities. Funeral services will be held Tuesday with burial at Kendallville.

Born in England, he came to the Cresco vicinity when 3 years of age and lived for 43 years on a farm near Riceville. For the last 15 years he lived in Riceville.

Surviving are three children, Ray, John Jr., and Mrs. Oliver White, all of Riceville.
