Joseph Mostek
dies at Mitchell

MITCHELL, IOWA — Joseph Mostek, 82, died Sunday at the home of his son, Joseph Jr., here. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church, Osage. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell. Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge.

Born in Czechoslovakia, he came to America 47 years ago and had lived in Mitchell 40 years.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Axel Hansen, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Joseph Cullen, Mitchell; Mrs. Leonard Maakestad, Osage; Mrs. Joseph Stetka, Racine, Wis.; Mrs. Raymond Krecka, Minneapolis; four sons, Jerry, Tony, Joseph Jr. and John, all of Mitchell; 29 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
