Hugh Stuckey Dies
at Farm Residence
in Stacyville Vicinity

STACYVILLE, IOWA – Hugh Stuckey died Saturday morning after a years illness at his farm home west of town.

Surviving are his widow and two children, Rose and Avery, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church and burial in Methodist cemetery**. He was Sunday school superintendent for many years and an active worker in church affairs.

NOTES:

1. According to the 1900 Census, he was born April 1871 in England.

2. According to the 1925 Iowa Census his parents were William Stuckey and Martha Marks
He married Mary Reynolds the daughter of Joseph Reynolds and Vashtim (Robbins) Reynolds.

3. **Actually he was buried in Stacyville Cemetery (a.k.a. Penneyville Cem.). See photo of tombstone at GPP photo collection (link below).
