Albert E. Vervaecke
ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Albert E. Vervaecke, 81, of St. Ansgar, died Thursday, November 21, 1996, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the St. Ansgar Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service.
Albert E. Vervaecke was born September 22, 1915, in Caneghem, Belgium.
Survivors include his wife, Laura, of St. Ansgar; two daughters, Elizabeth Malone of Manassas, Virginia, and Connie Fix of Plainview, Minnesota; two sons, Robert Vervaecke, Osage Beach, Missouri, and Edward Vervaecke of St. Ansgar; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elsie Eller of Hubbard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
