Ray Potter

Osage -- Ray Potter, 74, a retired farmer, died Wednesday night in Waterloo. He had had major surgery two weeks ago. funeral services are pending at Chamption Funeral Home.

Born in Mitchell County, July 2, 1890, he was the son of Oscar and Myrtle Potter. He was married to Blanche Babcock in August 1916. They farmed until moving to Waterloo 20 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Melvin, Waterloo; Alvin, California; a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Edith) Hanna, Denver, Colo., and six grandchildren.
