George Halfman

STACYVILLE, IOWA - Services for George Halfman, 83, who died Friday night at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stacyyille Visitation Catholic Church with rosaries at 3 and 8 p.m. at the church hall; burial in Visitation Cemetery; Hatten and Sons Funeral Home in charge.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; five daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Irma) Hamm of Charles City, Mrs. Ivan (Vera) Walsh and Mrs. Don (Mary Ann) Popp, both of Osage, Mrs. Daryl (Theresa) Minard of La Porte City, and Mrs. Dennis (Kathleen) Borchardt of Garland, Texas; a son, James Halfman of Byron, Minnesota; four brothers, Joe of Manly, Herbert and Mike, both of Stacyville, and Paul of Campbellsport, Wisconsin; a sister, Mrs. Joe (Christina) Simon of Stacyville.
