Dies in Sleep
at Osage Home

OSAGE, IOWA -- Rites are tentatively set for Saturday afternoon for Adam Decker, 85. He died in his sleep and was found Thursday morning by his son-in-law, Julian Knudtson, at his home near Osage.

Services will be at the Union Presbyterian Church near Stacyville. The Rev. Henry A. Sinning will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Born June 16, 1873, near Stacyville, he was the son of Martin and Susan Decker. He was married to Bessie Palmer in 1896. They lived near Stacyville until 1941 when they moved to Osage to be near their daughter. Mrs. Knudtson.

Mrs. Decker died in 1953.

Surviving are his daughter, a son, Morse, McIntire; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
