TOETERVILLE — Henry C. Brandt, 83, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kennes
Huntley, Toeterville, where he had resided for the past few months.

A funeral will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Kennes Huntley home and at 1:30 at St. Peter Lutheran Church at Toeterville. Burial in the St. Peter Cemetery, at Toeterville.

He was born on November 11, 1870, to Henry and Mathilda Brandt on a farm near Toeterville. There he spent his boyhood, and in 1896 married Emma Krahn, also of Toeterville. The couple moved to a farm northeast of Toeterville to establish their residence, and there lived until 1924, when they retired to Toeterville.

His wife, preceded him in death in 1931.

He leaves one son, Orville, St. Ansgar; a daughter, Mrs. Kennes Huntley, Toeterville; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Blumenrader, Stevenson, Washington, and a brother, George, of Osage.

Preceding him also were four sisters: Mrs. Mathilda Weber, Amelia, Charlotte and Laura in
infancy and three brothers: Albert, and Louis and Edward in infancy.
