at Toeterville

TOETERV1LLE — Philip J Baldner, 82, died Wednesday at his home in St. Ansgar. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Schroeder & Houg Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, and at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Toeterville. The Rev. William Kamke will officiate. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Baldner, he was born in Union Township, Mitchell county, Iowa, on December 29, 1879. He attended St. Ansgar Seminar; and was married to Bertha Decklever on November 20, 1901. They farmed near Elkton, Minn., and Toeterville until retiring to St. Ansgar in 1951.

Surviving are his wife, two sos, Arthur and Erwin, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother Henry, Berkeley, California.
