OSAGE, IOWA, July 21, 1919 — August P. Troge died Saturday, July 12. and was buried here, services being conducted by Rev. Mr. Bertram. He was born In 1864 in West Prussia, Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Troge.

He came to America when 12 years old and in 1874 moved to the west, settling near Osage

In 1880. He was married to Miss Christina Hartong and eight children were born to them.
