McINTIRE MAN'S RITES TUESDAY
McIntire---Funeral services were to be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the McIntire home of Oliver Gooder, 82, prominent retired farmer, who died Sunday after a lingering illness. The Rev. Mr. Cummings was to be in charge with burial in Wayne cemetrey.
Mrs. Gooder died Thursday. She was 79. they were married February 25, 1885, at Osage and had resided here since 1914. they had previously lived on a farm.
Surviving are 3 children. they include a son, Lester, and 2 daughters, Mrs. Henry Church, and Miss Gladyce Gooder of Knoxville, Tenn. three grandsons also survive. Mr. Gooder was preceded in death by 1 daughter.
