Y., thence by boat to Milwaukee, Wisconsin; again driving across country to Mitchell County.
After remaining about fourteen months, he returned to Vermont, and again came to Mitchell County in 1879, where he has made his home since. After living about ten years on farms in the vicinity, he came to Osage where he has been a resident for forty years or more.
