Rosalea Catherine Pitzen

OSAGE, IOWA — Rosalea C. Pitzen, 95, died Sunday, March 8, 1998, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage, with Fr. Philip Recker officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2:30 Wednesday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with a Rosary at 3 p.m. and a Scripture wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Rosalea was born on September 4, 1902, at Johnsburg, Minnesota, [the daughter of John Peter Mullenbach and Mary Ann (Weber) Mullenbach. -- D. Scott]

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Alice Counsell, Osage; three sons, Marvin Pitzen, Osage, Melvin Pitzen, Marshalltown, and Roger Pitzen, Marion; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers.
