Marion L. Graves

RICEVILLE — Marion L. Graves, 82, died Friday, March 6, 1998, at Mission Hospital in Mission, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Riceville, with the Rev. Herschel Hawf and the Rev. Robert Fegan officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville.

Marion Graves was born November 4, 1915, in Marshall County.

Survivors include his wife, Ione, Riceville; one son, Dean Graves, Osage; three daughters, Peggy Gall of Union, Marilyn Butters, Mason City, and Jean Affeldt, State Center; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charolette Folsum, Santa Barbara, California, and Neva Kerr, Waterloo; and one brother, Francis Graves, Plainsfield, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
