Albert Tabbert Funeral Services
To Be Today At St. John's Lutheran

Funeral services for Albert Tabbert, 91, of Osage, who died Sunday, December 13, 1987, at an Osage Nursing Home will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, Thursday, December 17, 1987 at St. John's Lutheran Church, east of Grafton, with the Reverend Richard Zellmer officiating.

Mr. Tabbert was born December 4, 1896 in Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of Wilhelm and Friederike (Pahl) Tabbert. He attended rural Rock Township schools and was a veteran of World War I.

On June 14, 1922 he married Edna Schmidt of Grafton. The couple farmed in Rock Township. Mr. Tabbert also had a machinery repair shop on his farm.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Evelyn) Lesch of Waterloo, daughter-in-law, Kathryn Tabbert of rural Osage; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna in 1980; a son; a granddaughter; two brothers;and a sister.

Burial was at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Rock Township, rural Osage.
