Funeral Services Are Held
December 21 at Grafton
Funeral services for Mrs. Harley (Minnie Hulda Anna) Kirchgatter, 88, of Grafton, who died Saturday, December 19 at St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center, were held Monday, December 21 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, with the Reverend David Anderson of St. James Lutheran Church, Mason City, officiating.
Mrs. Kirchgatter was born March 11, 1899 in Bedford, Richland County, North Dakota, the daughter of William and Emilia (Winter) Vedder. She was baptized March 29, 1899 at Bedford Church and confirmed March 20, 1913 by the Reverend R. Hilgendorf, Hankinson, N.D.
She married Harley Kirchgatter October 12, 1921 in Hankinson. They farmed northeast of Grafton. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton.
She is survived by one niece, Alda Clausen of Mason City, and one nephew, Wilmer Vedder of Austin, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.
