Frank Arthur Kerckhove

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Frank Arthur Kerckhove, 81, died Thursday, August 6, 1998, at his home in St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at the St. Ansgar Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, 207 S. School St., St. Ansgar. The Rosary service will begin at 5 p.m. and a scripture service at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Frank was born July 1, 1917, in Freeborn County, Minn. to Victor and Marie (DeVas) Kerckhove. He was married to Ida Rasmussen on Sept. 26, 1938.

He is survived by one sister, Sara Ritter and her husband, Wayne, of St. Ansgar; a special friend, Ruth Robertson, of St. Ansgar; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida; his parents; three brothers; and one sister.

NOTES:

His funeral service folder said his casket bearers were: Victor Nerad, Richard Nerad, Gerald Kerckhove, Tom Wells, David Westrem, Junior Thurnau, Don Kerckhove and Mike Leraaen.

Honorary bearers were: Eugene Kerckhove, George Kerckhove, Glenn Cimmiyotti, Kenneth Nerad, Craig Patterson and Charles Skjeveland.
