Lorraine Penney
LITTLE CEDAR, IOWA — Lorraine Penney, 61, of Forest City, former Little Cedar resident, died Thursday, May 23, 1985, at her home in Forest City.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Little Cedar Methodist Church, with the Rev. Loyd Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Little Cedar Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage.
Mrs. Penney was born January 28, 1924 at Little Cedar, the daughter of Albert and Hazel (Vosklander) Hultman. She attended Little Cedar schools and married Vinus (Bill) Penney in February 1941.
They farmed in Mitchell County south of Little Cedar for many years. Mr. Penney died May 18, 1979.
For the past 13 years she has delivered Winnebago Motor Homes and for the past four years has lived in Forest City.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Matt (Karmen) Hermann, Stacyville; one son, Michael of Little Cedar; one brother, Lawrence Hultman, Osage, and two grandchildren.
