John E. Swan
OSAGE, IOWA — John E Swan, 49, of Antioch, Illinois, died Monday, May 27, 1985, at a Forest Lake, Illinois, hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at Zion, Illinois with graveside committal service at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Osage cemetery.
John Swan was born June 18, 1935, at St Paul, Minn. He was married to Delores Johnson on June 22, 1962 at Osage. They resided in Antioch since 1975 where he worked for the United States Internal Revenue Service.
The family requests that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society. The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Delores of Antioch; his parents, William and Elna Swan of Wayzata, Minnesota; two sisters, Mrs. Allan (Elizabeth) Albus of New Hope, Minnesota, and Mrs. Paul (Karen) Guenter of St. Paul, Minnesota; and one brother, David Swan of Minneapolis.
