HOLD RITES MONDAY FOR ST. ANSGAR MAN

St. Ansgar---Funeral services for George Belz, 82, were held Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with burial in the cemetery south of town. He died in his sleep Friday night.

Mr. Belz was born on a farm west of town December 9, 1871, son of August and Anna Belz, one of a family of seven children. He was a lifelong resident of this community.

Survivors are his wife and four children, Lawrence on the home farm; Mrs. Laura Borchardt, Plymouth; Mrs. Fred Everding, Mason City, and Mrs. Henry Groth, St. Ansgar; two brothers and two sisters.
