Born in TownshipCARPENTER, IOWA — Funeral services for 84 year old Ole Anderson, lifelong resident of this community, were held Wednesday afternoon in the First Lutheran church, the Rev. Olaf Langehough in charge.
He died at his home Monday morning of a cold complicated by heart disease. He was the first white child born in Barton township, Worth county, and had lived all his life on the same farm where he died.
He is survived by his widow and seven children, Leonard, Olaf, Melvin and Gilbert of Carpenter, Antone of Lyle, Minnsota, and Mrs. Olga Olson of Mason City, and Mrs. Selma Beyer of Carpenter.
