OSAGE, IOWA - Kenneth Dean Johnson, 61, of Osage, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage, of natural causes.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; two sons, Tracy and Russell, both of Osage; four daughters: Teresa Johnson of St. Ansgar, Kim Barker and Kari Gast, both of Osage, and Lisa Hemann of Brighton, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; five brothers: Dale, Charles, Ivan and Harley, all of Osage, and Keith of Fort Dodge; and five sisters: Eleanor Schallock, Margaret Olsen and Mildred Sponheim, all of Osage, Carol McLaughlen of Belmond, and Sharon Boyce of Roseville, Minnesota; he was preceded in death by a daughter, Janine; and a sister, Florence Borcherding.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, rural Osage, with burial in Rock Creek Cemetery, Meroa. Friends may call from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and had farmed in Osage
