OBITUARY: June Alice (Coonradt) May, 1921-2005
Funeral services for June Alice Coonradt May, age 83, of Norfolk, Virginia, were conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 3, 2005, by Rev. Clifton Whitlock. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
June passed away Feb. 27, 2005 in Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center.
June, a native of Osage, Iowa, was a daughter of the late Warren and Alma Runge Coonradt, and the beloved wife for 58 years of Richard Russell May. She had been a member for 45 years of Saint John's United Methodist Church.
In addition to her loving husband, Richard, she is survived by two daughters, Mary Jo Lund and Susan M. Mauldin and husband Robert, all of Norfolk, Virginia; two sisters, Bonnie Church and Gloria Moore, both of Osage; and three granddaughters, Melissa Martino, Shelley Martino and Katherine Lund.
