OBITUARY:

Last rites for an Osage woman, Christina Christiansen, age 76, were held Saturday afternoon at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Christiansen died at Faith Home in Osage on October 2, 1980. The Rev. Joseph Nesheim and the Rev. Harold Larsen, pastors, were in charge of the services. Burial was in the Osage City Cemetery.

Christina Olina Hansen was born in Denver, Colorado, May 31, 1904, the daughter of Hans and Leontina Jensen Hansen. She grew to womanhood in Hardy, Nebraska.

Earl Christiansen and Christina Hansen were married June 17, 1905. They farmed in Nebraska until 1940, when they moved to Colwell. Before coming to the Osage area in 1948, they lived at Coulter.

She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and active in the women's organizations of Our Savior's Lutheran.

Surviving are one son, Clifford of Osage; one daughter, Viola of Richfield, Minnesota; four grandchildren; two brothers, Johannas Hansen of California, and Olaf Hansen of Cresco; three sisters: Mrs. Florence Overton of Omaha, Mrs. Joe Pedersen (Julia) of Hardy, Nebraska, and Mrs. Hans Christensen [Lillian] of Nelson, Nebraska.

Preceding her in death were her husband in 1973; her parents; one grandson, Brent Christiansen; and one brother, Rudolph.
