OSAGE PIONEER DIES AT HOME
Funeral for Sullivan Will Be Held Tuesday at Sacred Heart
OSAGE, IOWA - Michael H Sullivan, 85, resident of Osage more than 50 years died Saturday night at his home. He had been ill since Thanksgiving and recently suffered a heart attack.
Born in Massachusetts on December 15, 1851, he came to Dubuque as a boy with parents and later moved to Osage. He was married nearly 50 years ago.
Surviving are his widow; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Flynn of Minneapolis and Mrs. Kate Irwin of Osage; six children: Mrs. Harold O'Brien of Mason City, Leo of Mason City, Mrs. M. C. King of Sesser, Illinois; Winifred Sullivan of Sioux City, Vera Sullivan of Osage, and Mrs. Sylvester Kuhn of Osage.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at Sacred Heart church, Father Baxter in charge. Burial will be in Osage.
