Mrs. Ole Nystuen
Mrs. Ole Nystuen died April 20, 1926 at her home in West Hartland of cancer.
She was born July 26, 1872 at Carpenter to Mr. and Mrs. Torris and Karen Olson Thompson. Her mother died when she was a child and she was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Ole Halvorson of St. Ansgar, parents of Mrs. Charles Heltne of Locust, Iowa.
She was baptized at St. Ansgar on August 25, 1872 and confirmed at Deer Creek Church on December 11, 1887 by Rev. Johan Olson. She married Ole Nystuen on July 14, 1897 in Lake Mills by Rev. N.C. Brun. They went to Goodhue Co., near Dennison, in 1891 where they lived until 1919 when they moved to Northwood. In the spring of 1920 they moved to West Hartland Twp. where they had since lived.
She is survived by her husband, step-mother and half brothers and sisters, Thomas and Karl Thompson, Karoline Thompson and Mrs. Knut Anderson, all of Dennison, Minnesota. Her funeral was held at Silver Lake Lutheran Church, with Rev. H. Fosnes officiating, assisted by Rev. Chr. Heltne and Rev. M.E. Waldeland.
