She was married to Levi Olsen in Wisconsin on January 2, 1890. Four children were born to this union: Lawrence Olsen of San Fernando, California; Irvin Olsen and Mrs. Myron [Pearl] Maakestad, both of Osage; and Mrs. Ed Fredrickson of Burt.

They farmed in Rock Township until 1916 when they moved to Osage. Her husband passed away on April 3, 1922. She was then married to Julian Schoger on June 6, 1923. He passed away on April 29, 1943.

Surviving besides the four children are ten grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Olga Christianson of Osage and Mrs. Sophia Maudal of White Rock, South Dakota; and one brother, Christopher Brenden of Osage.

Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
