Sheumaker, Anna Marie Gilbertson Dreher, December 23, 1968
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Sheumaker, 79, were held Friday, December 27 at the First Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar. The Rev. Don Comnick, pastor, was in charge and burial was in the Deer Creek Cemetery near Carpenter.
Mrs. Sheumaker died after a lingering illness at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar, December 23, 1968.
Anna Marie Gilbertson was born June 22, 1889 in Carpenter, the daughter of Edwin G. and Betsy Gilbertson. She was baptized and confirmed at Deer Creek Lutheran church. She was united in marriage with Edward Dreher in March 1908. He died in 1944. In 1952 she was married to Rupert Sheumaker.
Her survivors include two sisters, Mrs. L. R. Ferrington of Blooming Prairie, Minn., and Mrs. E. B. Olson of Cresco, several nieces and cousins.
