Ella (Timmerman) Scheidegger, 1902-1996

OSAGE, IOWA - Ella (Timmerman) Scheidegger, 94, died Friday, September 20, 1996, at the Faith Home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Osage City Cemetery, with the Rev. Clark Christian officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the Champion Funeral Home.

Ella was born May 1, 1902, in McIntire, Mitchell County, Iowa.

Survivors include two sons, Manly Timmerman of Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Robert Timmerman of LeRoy, Minnesota; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ella (Broking) Timmerman Scheidegger 1902-1996
Ella was born May 1, 1902 in McIntire, Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Louise Broking.

Her parents are buried in the Massillon Cemetery, Massilon, Cedar, Iowa. (her maiden name from 1925 Iowa Census).

Her first husband was August Henry Timmerman. He was born 1892 in Illinois and died November 11, 1963 in Osage. The birth year on his tombstone is 1892 but the SS Death Record has October 27, 1889 and the WWI Draft registration has October 27, 1891.

They had two sons Robert and Manly Timmerman.

Manly August Timmerman was born December 11, 1925 — April 28, 2010 and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, Mnnesota

Ella’s second husband was Chester Scheidegger. They were married after he retired according to his obit.

She is on the same tombstone as August Timmerman in the Osage Cemetery.
