0. H. DAHL DIES IN LYLE, MINN.
LYLE, MINNESOTA - O. H. Dahl of Lyle. Minn., former state senator, died Thursday. Dahl served four terms in the Minnesota senate, from 1925 to 1933, from the Mower county district. He was a mayor here for 12 years.

NOTES:
1. Olaf's mother was Serianna Dahl who died in 1927.
2. According to "Minnesota Legislators Past & Present" - Olaf H. Dahl, served in the House from 1925 to 1932, in District 5 (Mower county). When first elected he was non-partisan. When first elected he was a resident of Lyle, Minnesota, and was in the Mercantile business, and formerly a miller.
3. Olaf was born on November 19, 1870 on a farm in Rock county, Wisconsin. He moved to Mitchell County, Iowa at a young age with his family. He was educated in Mitchell county, Iowa, public schools. He moved to Lyle, Minnesota in 1904. He died on June 11, 1942.
4. When first elected, he was married and had one daughter.
5. In 1927 he had a brother, Arthur, who was the "singing evangelist." Other siblings include: Mrs. L. A. Sherman of Austin, Henry Ingwald, Mrs. ida Fedson, Tom, Mrs. Rena Ames of Lyle, and sigurd Dahl of Seattle.
