Farm Woman Near
Osage Succumbs

OSAGE, IOWA - Mrs. Charles Lamm, 73, wife of a prominent cattleman near Osage, died at the Cedar Valley Hospital at Charles City Monday at 4:45 a.m. following a heart ailment.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Fidel and Howard on the home farm; and a daughter, Mrs. Victor Ellingson, of St. Ansgar, also a sister, Mrs. Dora Ottman and a brother, Fred Fosha, both of Bailville, Illinois.

Mrs. Lamm was born at Bailville, Illinois, December 25, 1875, was married in Illinois on February 10, 1899, and the family moved to their present farm north of Osage in 1905.

MRS. CHARLES LAMM
DIED MONDAY AT
CHARLES CITY HOSPITAL

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Lamm, 72, were held this morning (Thursday) at the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. J. Conroy officiating. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Mrs. Lamm died Monday, November 7, at the Cedar Valley hospital in Charles City.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Fidel and Howard of Osage; and one daughter, Mrs. Victor Ellingson of St. Ansgar.

The Lamms have lived near Osage for many years. Her obituary will appear in next week's Press-News.

MRS. CHARLES LAMM

Lena Fosha was born on December 25, 1876, at Bailyville, Illinois, to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Fosha. She received her education in the schools at Bailyville.

On February 7, 1899, she was married to Charles Lamm at Freeport, Illinois. The couple lived on the Lamm home farm on the Grant highway east of Freeport until 1905 when they came to Iowa and lived on a farm until her death.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Lamm; two sons, Fidel Joseph and Howard Jerome; and a daughter, Glenda Marie; and one granddaughter, Mrs. Elmer Jensen.

One daughter, Dorothy Marion, preceded her in death.

Lena Lamm died on November 7, at the Cedar Valley Hospital in Charles City. The funeral services were held last Thursday morning at the home and at the Sacred Heart church in Osage. Interment was in the Sacred Heart cemetery.
