TWO NASHUA PIONEERS
DIED DURING LAST WEEKOSAGE, IOWA Feb. 9—-Leslie Basford and Lester Coonradt, pioneers of this section, died last week.
The death of Mr. Basford occurred at noon Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Klar, east of town, from a stroke. He had spent most of the mornign inspecing the farm and had gone to the house for market news by radio when he was stricken, death coming almost immediately. Burial was Saturday afternoon. Reverend Mr. of the M.E. Church. His widow and two daughters, Mrs. Klar and Mrs. Mabel Warrington survive.
Services were conducted this afternoon for Mr. Coonradt, who died Friday. Reverend Mr. Smith had charge. His widow, two daughters and one son survive.
