DIES AT BAYARDThe Rev. B. H. Coonradt, 71, died at his home at Bayard, Iowa, Monday after an illness of several months. His brother, Lloyd, had gone there Sunday to be with him and was present at the time of his death.
The Reverend Coonradt is a former Osage resident. He was born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, Feb. 2, 1873, the son of Salathiel and Lillian Coonradt, and two years later the family moved to Osage. They settled on a farm in Burr Oak township and lived theire many years, where he attended the rural school.
The deceased entered Cedar Valley Seminary and was graduated in 1896. Then he attended Des Moines College, where he took his theological work. He was ordained in the Christian church ministry and preached until the time of his death. He held pastorates in Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota.
His wife is the former Josephine O'Bannion of Storm Lake. She and their three daughters, Lucille, Margaret and Virginia survive.
The body was brought to the Champion funeral home where funeral servicves willbe conducted Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock by the Rev. Wayne Christensen, pastor of the Baptist church. Burial will be in Osage Cemetery.

#2:FORMER PASTOR DIES AT BAYARD
The Rev. Bert Coonradt Buried at Osage Friday
OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services were to be held Friday afternoon for the Rev. Bert Coonradt, at Champion's Funeral Home, the Rev. Wayne L. Christiansen officiating. Burial was to be in the family lot in the Osage cemetery. Mr. Coonradt died at his home at Bayard Monday, having been ill for several months. A service was held Thursday afternoon at Bayard.
Bert Coonradt was born at Stoughton, Wisconsin, on February 2, 1873, the son of Salathiel and Lillian Coonradt.
When two years of age, he came with his parents to Mitchell County to a farm in Burr Oak Township. There he attended the rural school, and was graduated from the Cedar Valley Seminary in 1896.
He attended the theological seminary at Des Moines college, and entered the ministry. He served congregations in Minnesota, Nebraska and Iowa as pastor of Christian churches.
He married Lona Holt of Knoxville who died in 1907. Later he married Josie O'Banion, who also
preceded him in death.Surviving are three daughters: Lucille of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Margaret and Virginia of Louisville, Kentucky; and one brother, Lloyd Coonradt, of Osage.
