MRS. COONRADT, OF OSAGE, DIES
Funeral to Be Sunday;
Last of a Family of 11OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. for Mrs. Frank Coonradt, 82, who died on Thursday evening at her home at 416 Elm street. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Stiles Lessly, with burial in the Osage cemetery.
Emma Raisty, daughter of John and Susan Raisty, was born on August 25, 1861, near Centralia. The family moved to Colwell, where she spent her girlhood. On Feb. 2, 1887, she married Frank Coonradt, and they resided east of Osage, then moved to near Stacyville, and then retired to Osage in 1919.
Mrs. Coonradt is the last of a family of 11, nine sisters and one brother having preceded her in death. Her husband died April 10, 1943.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Decker of Riceville; five sons: Ora Coonradt of Charles City, Herbert and Floyd Coonradt of LeRoy, Minnesota, Ernest Coonradt of Waverly, and Lee Coonradt of the navy, now in the Marshall Isles.
