OSAGE PIONEER LAID TO REST
ALBERT DOROW, 86, HAD BEEN MITCHELL COUNTY RESIDENT 52 YEARS

Osage: August 1----Albert Dorow died Tuesday morning at the age of 86 years. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Champion funeral home with the Rev. E B. Frye in charge.

Mr Dorow was born September 23, 1842, in Shivelbein, Germany. He was married in 1868 to Miss Wilhelmina Flesch. Mr. and Mrs. Dorow and son, Reinhold F., came to this country in 1871 settling first in Milwaukee.

Their daughter, Mrs. L. M. Dykeman of Devonia, was born there. The family moved to Osage in 1877 and has lived here ever since. He worked at his trade of carpenter until 20 years ago, when he was injured in a fall from a scaffold.
