HOLD PESHAK RITES
St. Ansgar, Iowa — Funeral service were to be held Wednesday afternoon at the Peshak home for Sylvan Peshak, who died Saturday at the Colonial hospital a Rochester following a major operation. The Rev. W. F. Belling, pastor of the Methodist church, was to be in charge, burial to be in the East cemetery.

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Sylvan J. Peshak, 72, died Saturday** at Colonial Hospital at Rochester, Minnesota, following a major operation. He was a resident of St. Ansgar and vicinity all his life. He established the first telephone system in the vicinity and was manager of the local telephone system for 40 years.
He leaves a widow, Emma; one daughter, Frances, at home in St. Ansgar; a sister, Katherine Peshak, Lemon, South Dakota; and a brother, Roy, Bridgeport, West Virginia.
