LAST RITES HELD FOR NILS KRISTIAN PEDERSON
Funeral services for Nils Kristian Pederson, 74, who died in his sleep Saturday, June 24, 1950 at his home, were held yesterday (Wednesday) at the First Lutheran Church with the Reverend O. A. Langehough officiating.
Burial was in Riverview Cemetery south of town beside his first wife who passed away March 12, 1925.
Mr. Pedersen was born April 16, 1876 in Oslo, Norway. As a young man he came to America and in 1897 was united in marriage to Petra Lunde. To this union was born nine children of whom five survive. They are: Anna of Seattle, Washington, Selma of Maddock, North Dakota, Svend of St. Ansgar, Gerda of Downy, and Erling of Wolverton, Minnesota. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Johan, Laurence, Peter and Nellie preceded him in death, and also one grandchild.
On August 23, 1933 Mr. Pederson was married to Mrs. Anna Nelson and has been residing in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pallbearers at the funeral were LaVern Falk, Anton Nelson, Lawrence Ask, Melvin Sponheim, Martin Halverson and George Johnson.
