Mrs. Adolph Jahr services set at Mona church
MONA, IOWA — Mrs. Adolph Jahr, 57, died Saturday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mona Lutheran Church. The Rev. Stanley Klemesrud will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Schrocder & Houg Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, Iowa, in charge of arrangements.
Marian Jeanette Nelson was born at Mona, Iowa, on October 8, 1904, to Mr and Mrs. Peter Nelson. She taught in rural schools before her marriage Dec. 28, 1927. They farmed in the Mona area,
Surviving are her husband; son, Almo, Lyle, Minnesota; two daughters, Mrs. Loyal (Marlys) Moore, Garner; Mrs. Marlin (Eileen) Kittleson, St. Ansgar; six grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Mina Nelson, Mona; two sisters, Mrs. Rudolph (Violet) Haugland, Lyle; Mrs. Helen Nelson, Mona; a brother, Wilis Nelson, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
