Victoria May Fuller, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fuller of Stacyville, died at the home of her parents on Monday morning November 14th, 1904. She was born May 10, 1887, and having always lived in Stacyville enjoyed a large acquaintance in that place. Her death was very sudden and came as a shock to the entire community. Very few had learned of her sickness until the news of her death.

She finished her work in the Stacyville High School last June and having made a fine record, graduated with honor. The esteem in which she was held by her associates in the school is shown by the fact that the students of the entire school attended the funeral in a body the school being dismissed for that purpose.

She had been a member of the Sunday School from her childhood, and there received training for her usefulness to the church. In July, 1901, she united with the Methodist church on probation and six months later, was received in full connection by the pastor, the Rev. S. A. Hale. She was at the time of her death secretary and organist of the Sunday School and an office of the Epworth League.

She had a wide circle of friends in Stacyville, who will feel her death as a personal loss to them. The funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon Nov. 15th at the Methodist church. Miss Lovestrom, formerly of Stacyville, sang "O Dry Those Tears" and the pastor said the last words. An unusually large tribute of flowers was a testimony of the love and esteem of many friends.
