Funeral services are pending for John Robert (Bob) Foxen, 78, of Beaverton, Oregon. He died Saturday, March 30, 2002. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery in New Haven, Iowa.
John Robert Foxen was born Feb. 25, 1924 at Dubuque, Iowa, the son of John and Mary Louella (McCann) Foxen. He grew up in New Haven and worked in the tree service business living in Waterloo, Iowa, for many years. His favorite activity was fishing.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Francis Foxen of Rockford, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife Theresa, three daughters, Ruth Cummings, Regina Palmer and Jackie Ackley; two sons, Ronald Foxen and Rick Foxen, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Five step-children, Hiram Bickle, Robert Bickle, Debra Kanniegator, Robin Brown, Linda Wilds and 11 step-grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers, Leo Foxen of New Haven, Iowa, and Donald Foxen of Osage, Iowa; four sisters, Mary Lucena Eden of Titonka, Iowa, Alice Wilkins of Nora Springs, Dolores Hemann of Austin, Minnesota, and Mary Coleman of Shawnee, Kansas, and many nieces and nephews.
